Eligibility Criteria for Indian Coast Guard Navik Posts
Educational Qualifications:
- Navik (GD): Candidates must have completed their 12th grade with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects.
- Navik (DB): Candidates must have completed their 10th grade.
Age Limit:
- For both Navik (GD) and Navik (DB) posts, candidates must be aged between 18 and 22 years.
- Birthdates must fall between September 1, 2003, and August 31, 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Relaxation of Upper Age Limit:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹21,700 per month (Pay Level-3).
Selection Process
The selection for the Indian Coast Guard Navik posts will be conducted in the following stages:
- Stage I: Computer-Based Online Examination
- Stage II: Assessment Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Document Verification, and Recruitment Medical Examination
- Stage III: Final Identity Checks, Police Verification, and Submission of Original Documents
